Role: Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)

Location: 45-15 162nd St, Flushing, NY 11358

Type: Part Time and Per Diem

Schedule: Weekends, Holidays and Per Diem, part time daytime hours

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with our skilled Physical Therapists to implement treatment plans.

Assess patient health by conducting interviews, physical examinations, and reviewing therapy histories.

Administer therapeutic programs and exercises.

Provide heat packs and therapies to provide pain relief and promote overall wellness

Document patient care services accurately.

Educate patients on wellness and health maintenance.

Maintain a safe and clean working environment.

Stay updated on industry trends and participate in professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:

Certification: Completion of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.

License: Valid PTA license in the state of New York.

Experience: Prior experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
