Under minimal direct supervision, the Safety Associate role ensures security and safety of our members and staff by patrolling the buildings and grounds. Safety Associates provide support during all hours of the day for members and employees, as needed. The schedule for this position is 3:00pm - 11:30pm Thursday - Monday - this position qualifies for swing shift differential.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitors the facility and grounds to ensure the safety of all members, staff, and guests.
- Completes a minimum of one (1) interior and one (1) exterior patrol as assigned, with each patrol including the expected number of pictures and comprehensive notes required.
- Completes detailed and prompt reporting and documentation of any/all incidents that occur on shift.
- Operates and monitors the front desk by checking in/out staff and visitors according to company policy.
- Ensures the responsible searching, securing, and documenting of all deliveries and drop-offs.
- Monitors CCTV cameras within the facility to ensure the ongoing safety and wellbeing of members and staff.
- Obtains and documents the required member information upon any/all discharges and/or passes, as appropriate.
- Responds to requests for assistance/support from staff and members, as needed.
- Provides members and staff with support and assistance at intake and/or discharge, as needed.
- Enforces applicable member/staff-related policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Assists with monitored urinalysis/drug testing of members, as needed and per company protocols.
- Assists departments with member interactions, including locating and escorting members to designated areas.
- Assists with Fire and Life Safety monitoring and logging.
- Acts as the first point of contact with law enforcement and first responders.
- Assists clinical departments with Room Wellness Assessments as needed.
- Additional duties as assigned.

- Prior security and/or emergency response experience
Education
Required- High School or better
- HS Equivalency or better
