What are the responsibilities and job description for the Day Program Instructor position at New Gateways Inc?
We are actively seeking a caregiver to join our team to provide exemplary care and support for adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities at a Community Activity Program that offers skill building, community, and transportation services. We work together with our participants daily in a classroom setting doing activities, skill building activities, community outings, personal care, meal prep etc.
- Daytime hours Monday thru Friday from 8am-3pm or 8:30am-3:30pm
- Starting pay is $14.35 an hour with room for advancement

- New Gateways is a participating employer of the MI Direct Support Professionals Apprenticeship Program in collaboration with the MI Department of Labor and Oakland Community College.
- Must pass a criminal background check, drug test, and have a valid drivers license. All trainings are paid and provided.
