We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative individual to join our team as a Teacher. All teachers will be responsible for creating lesson plans and completing administrative tasks. The successful candidate will be well organized, capable of engaging students and patient with an aptitude for working under pressure. The position requires that candidates work with children with a variety of learning styles, and we're most interested in hiring individuals who have previously taught elementary or special education.
Responsibilities:
- Make lesson plans.
- Teach students.
- Evaluate student progress against lesson plans.
- Discipline disruptive students.
- Handle administrative tasks such as lesson plan administration, grading, and ordering supplies.
- Be a role model for students and colleagues.
- Resolve problems with parents, teachers, and school administrators.
- Advocate for effective educational change.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.75 - $14.00 per hour
