What are the responsibilities and job description for the Grounds Keeper position at New Glarus School District?
We are looking for a part time, seasonal, as needed Grounds Keeper from approximately March thru October. Duties will include lawn mowing, landscaping, sport field maintenance and other related tasks.
Responsibilities
- Maintain outer premises by mowing lawn, watering plants, and landscaping.
- Maintaining the sport fields.
- Utilize insecticides to prevent infestation by dangerous pests.
- Perform maintenance and minor repairs on equipment that is in use.
- Report major damages and oversee repairs
Skills
- Familiarity with basic landscaping and handyman practices
- Attention to detail and conscientiousness
- Very good physical condition and strength
- High school diploma is preferred but not required'
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.53 - $20.73 per hour
Work Location: In person
