RPS is supporting New Hampshire Ball Bearings, Inc. (NHBB), they’re looking for a Buyer to help coordinate and streamline the procurement of raw materials and supplier services. They are a leader in precision bearings, NHBB serves aerospace, medical, and industrial markets worldwide.
As a Buyer, you will coordinate the procurement of raw materials and outside supplier services to meet the demands of the business. This includes managing purchase orders, expediting shipments, and collaborating with manufacturing and quality teams to ensure seamless operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities of the Buyer:
Process and manage purchase orders in the system where directed
Seek approvals for purchases based on $ levels and divisional protocols.
Monitor Material Requirements Planning (MRP) to ensure timely ordering of materials.
Send purchase orders to suppliers and maintain strong supplier relationships.
Develop and utilize efficient systems to monitor open purchase orders and ensure timely delivery.
Provide reporting on material and order status; performance cycle counts as necessary.
Support departmental and organizational goals through effective collaboration.
Qualifications and skills of the Buyer:
Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Minimum of one year of purchasing experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Skills & Abilities of the Buyer:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively with a team.
- A detail-oriented approach with the ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks.
- Familiarity with MRO stockroom operations is a plus.
