We’re hiring a full-time Managing Director, Finance/CFO for our Finance & Accounting Division.
As Chief Financial Officer, you will lead a team whose work enables the continued success and impact of a strong, trusted, and vital organization. In this role, you :
- Lead Finance & Accounting Division. Oversee, manage, and direct the financial, general accounting, and loan portfolio management functions of the organization.
- Develop and maintain appropriate banking, financial community, and industry relationships to ensure successful operation of NH Housing’s financial functions and programs (Bond Trustees, Underwriters, Financial Advisors, Commercial Banking Firms, Bond and Tax Counsel, Accounting Firms, etc.).
- Advise the Executive Director and, as appropriate, the Board of Directors on all matters related to financial policy.
- Manage and coordinate the implementation of tax-exempt bond issues to support single-family home acquisitions and the development of large multifamily projects.
- Provide a broad range of financial analysis, interpretation, and forecasts relative to all funds to ensure the financial stability of, and sound business planning by, NH Housing.
- Administer NH Housing's annual budget process and oversee related reporting.
Your experience, skills, and education should include:
- Strong background in accounting, business acumen, and a proven ability to manage and mentor teams.
- Excellent leadership skills with experience managing and developing a team of professionals.
- Experience closing bond deals or working in public finance.
- Education: eight to ten years relevant work experience, Master's Degree or Juris Doctorate in a related field preferred.
- For training purposes, the first six months of work will be in the office. Limited remote work available after that time.

Starting Pay: $143,400 - $195,000 dependent on relevant experience
