We’re hiring a full-time Senior Accountant, Payroll/Accounts Payable for our Finance & Accounting Division.
As a Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in completing accounting functions that contribute to our mission. Your responsibilities will include:
- Monitor daily accounting activity for accounts payable and payroll to ensure highly accurate systems and reports, compliance with internal controls, policies and procedures, and applicable state and federal regulations.
- Supervise the processing of accounts payable and cash disbursements, including appropriate signatory controls and compilation of periodic reports and schedules.
- Manage communications with the People Operations team, IRS, and third-party administrators in relation to payroll and accounts payable.
- Maintain systems and reports related to all assigned reconciliations, including quarterly and annual payroll tax reports.
- Perform accurate and timely payroll processing, tax compliance, reconciliations, reporting, and system optimization while maintaining employee payroll records, addressing inquiries, and adhering to policies and regulations.
Intermittent remote work is available after training is completed.
Your experience, skills, and education should include:
- Strong payroll knowledge and experience, including state and federal wage and tax laws and overtime requirements.
- Experience in payroll related benefits administration which includes transmission of pension plan contributions and insurance billing reconciliations.
- Three years’ experience working with/managing payroll systems. UKG experience preferred.
- Education: seven years relevant work experience, Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred.
