What are the responsibilities and job description for the Substitute Teacher position at New Hanover County Schools?
Job Goal: To maintain a safe, orderly environment and high level of student learning when the regular teacher is absent.
Qualifications: Non-certified subs must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Forty-eight credit hours or college degree preferred. Experience working with children preferred. Certified subs must have a bachelor's degree in education with a teaching license. Long Term subs must have an active North Carolina teaching license in the area of the long term assignment.
