About the Role
We are seeking an energetic, well-spoken, and highly skilled Music Teacher who can teach multiple instruments up to at least an intermediate level. The ideal candidate will be proficient in piano, guitar, drums, and voice (experience with additional instruments is a plus). You should be comfortable working with students of all ages and skill levels, particularly children and teens.
This position offers flexible, part-time hours with the potential for additional teaching opportunities based on demand.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide engaging and effective private and group music lessons in piano, guitar, drums, and voice (additional instruments a plus).
- Adapt lesson plans to fit individual student needs, goals, and learning styles.
- Encourage and prepare students for live performances, recitals, and showcases.
- Lead or assist with rock band programs and group music classes (a huge plus).
- Maintain clear communication with students, parents, and staff regarding progress and expectations.
- Foster a fun, supportive, and motivating learning environment.
- Participate in academy events, performances, and community outreach initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience teaching music in both private and group settings (preferred).
- A bachelor’s degree in Music, Music Education, or a related field (preferred).
- A passion for teaching and the ability to engage and inspire students of all ages.
- Strong performance skills and a love for live music.
- Outgoing, friendly, and professional demeanor—must be comfortable interacting with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Experience leading or working with rock bands and ensemble groups (preferred but not required).
- Bilingual in Spanish and English (a plus but not required).
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
