What are the responsibilities and job description for the Direct Care Staff (Weekday - Day Shift) position at New Haven Communities?
New Haven Communities is a LGBTQIA residential group home in Laveen, AZ.
We are seeking individuals to join our team! In this role, you will assist in one of our 24-hour community-based homes.
As a member of our team you will provide direct supervision, promote positive redirected behavior skills, teach life skills, and strategic treatment interventions for adolescent boys and girls in the residence. You are trained and supported to build helping relationships with troubled youth in a therapeutic residential setting. Your role will be an integral part of a treatment team that includes therapists, nurses, teachers, and administrators.
Requirements: Must have or be able to obtain the below when applying for employment.
- Valid Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card
- CPR/First Aid (Children's/Pediatric)
- Current TB Shot
- Current AZ driver’s license
Available Shifts:
- 8 hour shift available: 7am-3pm (Monday-Friday)
Education:
- High school or equivalent
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
