Duties
- Manage accounts receivable and ensure timely invoicing and collections.
- Perform account reconciliation to maintain accurate financial records.
- Prepare bank reconciliations on a regular basis to ensure accuracy of cash balances.
- Utilize accounting software, including QuickBooks and Quicken, for efficient record-keeping.
- Assist in payroll processing and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Generate financial reports to provide insights into the organization’s financial status.
- Collaborate with public accounting firms during audits or tax preparation as needed.
- Maintain organized financial documents and records for easy access and review.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
- Strong understanding of accounts receivable, account reconciliation, and payroll processes.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks and Quicken is essential.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to write clear and concise financial reports.
- Knowledge of public accounting practices is a plus but not required.
