Salary : $30 / hour
Job Summary : The Associate Development Director will be responsible for strengthening and implementing NHRs annual fundraising efforts connected to the organizational development plan. This role works closely with the Executive Director and Development and Communications Director and requires experience in a development role. The Associate Development Director will strategize and execute the identification, cultivation, solicitation and recognition of individual annual donors and will be responsible for meeting budget goals. S / he will assist the Development and Communications Director in managing the cultivation and solicitation of major gift donors, as well as in working on select grants.
This is a non-exempt, part-time position with a pay rate of $30 per hour. The Associate Development Director reports to the Development and Communications Director. The expected schedule is 25 hours per week Monday through Friday, with some flexibility in daily scheduling.
Major Responsibilities including, but not limited to :
- Work with the Executive Director and key members of staff to develop a strategy and implement the annual fundraising plan for NHR, including the implementation of the NHR Annual Appeal campaign.
- Support NHR grant writing efforts including research, proposal writing, and reporting.
- Develop and oversee donor lists, donor research, and donor tracking using NHRs CRM database, Salesforce
- Play a significant role in the planning and execution of key cultivation and donor recognition events, e.g. the annual major donor Thank You event, Board Thank-a-Thon, and other related activities.
- Develop, execute, and manage cultivation, solicitation, and acknowledgment plans and process for sustaining donors.
- Work with key staff to ensure consistent and effective marketing and communication that supports development efforts.
