Your Role:
- Provide compassionate and effective in-person therapy to individuals, couples, and families, with the option for telehealth.
- Utilize evidence-based approaches to address a wide range of mental health concerns.
- Help clients develop coping skills, build resilience, and achieve their therapeutic goals.
- Contribute to a collaborative and supportive team environment.
- Provide a minimum of 30 clinical hours per week.
- Commit to ethical practice and ongoing professional development.
- Ability to work in person in our office setting with occasional telehealth appointments.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team and community collateral resources.
- Understanding of the unique cultural and psychological needs of trauma and grief particularly with Miltary Sexual Trauma, childhood sexual abuse, assault, and religious trauma.
- Understanding of HIPAA guidelines and patient confidentiality
- An EMDR-trained or Certified therapist is preferred.
- Experience in Substance Use Treatment is preferred
Location: This position is available in Fort Walton Beach, Florida at the clinical offices of New Heights Counseling and Consulting, LLC.
