Accounting Technician
Thomasville, GA l Temp to Perm l $16.71 / Hour
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounting Technician to join a local government finance team. The ideal candidate will assist with various accounting functions, including managing financial transactions and preparing reports.
Responsibilities
- Assist Accounts Payable with AP duties and acts as the backup for AP when necessary
- Assist with general billing and / or general billing adjustments
- Assist with reconciling accounts receivables and accounts payables to the general ledger on a monthly basis; completes journal entries or cash receipts adjustments for necessary corrections
- Assist with accounting month-end process (updating journal entries, reconciling accounts and completing reports)
- Assist with reports for auditors during audit
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Location : Thomasville, GA
Pay Rate : $16.71 / Hour
Schedule : Monday – Friday 8 : 00AM – 5 : 00PM
