Appraisal Technician
Thomasville, GA l Temp to Perm l $15.00 / Hour
We are looking for an Appraisal Technician to assist with daily operations for the County Government. For this position, you must be able to multitask in a timely manner and be able to complete all job duties successfully.
Responsibilities
Enter pertinent information into computer system
Maintain files and records by documenting records and reports
Provides information to the public by telephone or at the counter
Maintain office supplies and files; order supplies for staff
Answer telephones, screen callers, provide information as requested or forward calls to appropriate staff person, take messages as necessary
Interact and communicate with various groups and individuals
process and review homestead applications
Assists the taxpayers in filing property returns
verify property taxes paid and issue decals
check mail, process outgoing mail, distribute mail
enter data from city and county building permits
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent
Ability to lift 15lbs
1-2 years previous office experience
Ability to operate a variety of office equipment
Great verbal and written communication skills
Clean Criminal Background check
Ability to multitask and complete tasks in a timely manner
Location : Thomasville, GA
Pay Rate : $15.00 / Hour
Schedule : Monday – Friday 8 : 00AM – 5 : 00PM
