Our company is looking for a Graphic Design Intern to add to our nationwide team for a 4-month internship. New Home Star is the largest privately owned seller of new homes in America. As a member of our Graphic Design team, you have the opportunity to support our corporate office and our new home builder partners to sell more homes more profitably. Our Corporate Support Office is located in the heart of downtown Elmhurst and is not your typical "corporate" setting. Pay Structure & Benefits

17.50 / hr

25-30 hours a week.

Flexible schedule and hybrid remote work enviroment.

Requirements

New Home Star is seeking a motivated, educated, goal-oriented professional to join our team. If you fit the requirements below, you are an ideal match for this position!

Proficient computer knowledge / skills (i.e., MS Office Suite such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).

Background checks required.

Ability to work in-person two days per week in the Elmhurst, IL corporate office is required.

Enrolled in or recent graduate with a Marketing, Design or Business Degree.

Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.

Ability to create designs that build an emotional connection with clients.

Capable of creating print, web, web banner, e-blast, and social media campaigns and collateral.

Strong understanding of branding, most importantly the role that visual elements play.

Strong collaboration and communication skills.

Self-starter who constantly seeks out new ways to improve and advance our mission.

Detail-obsessed; driven to produce the highest quality, as-pixel-perfect-as-possible work.

Hunger to always be learning and improving his or her skills.

Ability to attend collaborative meetings within tradition business hours.

Responsibilities

Perform effectively as a member of the project team.

Maintain collateral update requests for both web and print applications.

Design marketing / sales assets for new marketing initiatives.

Convert designs into Canva format to improve our customer experience.

Help design new integrated marketing campaigns for our home builder partners.

Maintain workflow within our Project Management System.

Attend weekly review / status meetings.
