Job Overview:
As a Site Director, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing the operations of our Middle School After School program. Reporting directly to the Site Leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of the after school programs and activities on-site. In collaboration with Site Leadership and Site Culture, Your leadership will be instrumental in creating a conducive environment for student learning and growth.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance the overall educational experience for students at the site.
- Supervise and support staff members in delivering high-quality educational services, including academic support, enrichment activities, clubs and student mentoring.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders, including teachers, parents, and community partners, to foster a positive learning environment.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the after school program, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards and organizational policies.
- Manage program responsibilities and resource allocation to optimize educational opportunities.
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to measure program effectiveness and student progress.
- Address any issues or concerns that arise among staff, students, or parents in a timely and professional manner.
Skills:
- Proven experience in after school administration or a related field.
- Strong background in expanded learning opportunities with a focus on student success and retention.
- Previous experience working with students to educate and empower them towards academic achievement.
- Familiarity with PBIS (Positive Behavior Intervention and Support)
-Familiarity with students that may designate as ELL and/or qualify for accommodations.
- Excellent communication skills for effectively engaging with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to lead a team towards a common goal while fostering a collaborative work environment.
