What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nurse 1 position at New Hope Corps?
We are seeking a Nurse RN to join our team! You will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to our residential clients.
Responsibilities:
- Provide basic care and treatment to our residential clients
- Collaborate with registered nurses to administer prescribed medications, when needed
- Take vital signs, enter client medications into the eMAR, and liaise with our Medical Director, when needed.
- Educate and update clients on their medical treatments and proper self-care
- Perform medication audits and disposal as required by law and agency policies
- Administer diagnostic tests for Tuberculosis and COVID-19
- Other duties in the scope of regular nursing practice, as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in nursing or other medical fields
- Familiarity with electronic health and medication administration records
- Ability to build rapport with clients seeking treatment for substance abuse and mental health disorders
- Compassionate and caring demeanor
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Able to participate as part of a clinical treatment team
Salary : $55,000 - $65,000
