Women’s Fertility Physician Assistant

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients and gather patient medical history
• Perform intrauterine insemination (IUI), endometrial biopsies
• Perform transvaginal ultrasounds including antral follicle count, monitoring during in vitro

fertilization cycles, endometrial lining development, early obstetrical ultrasounds

• Counsel patients on treatment options
• Coordinate cycles for IVF, Egg Donor and Gestational Carrier cycles
• Administers or orders diagnostic tests, and laboratory tests, and interprets test results for

deviations from normal.

• Develops and implements patient management plans, records progress notes, and

assists in the provision of continuity of care.

• Work closely with our fertility doctors to provide top quality care for our patients
• On the job training provided

Education:

• Graduation from an accredited PA program, current NYS licensure, BLS/ACLS

certification and NCCPA board certification are required. Also, the candidate must have

current Infection Control Certification.

Experience:

• 3 years experience in a fertility or Ob/GYN practice preferred
• Ultrasound experience preferred
• Experience in and a passion for women’s health, fertility is a plus

• Excellent communication skills and be a team player and possess strong clinical skills.
• This position requires high level of customer service skills to establish and enhance

positive relationships with patients, colleagues and the medical center.

• Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline-oriented medical center

environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $110,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
