We provide PTO to Part-time employees! New Hope Mills, located in Auburn, NY, and home to our well-known pancake mixes, store, and delicious Cafe, seeks an Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable Assistant to join our team. This is a part-time position, approximately 20 hours per week, with the potential to go full-time. As the AR/AP Assistant, you will report to the Sales & Accounting Manager, and will be responsible for:
- Identifying refunds, delinquent accounts, and insufficient payments.
- Preparing, disbursing, & following up on invoices to customers.
- Resolving issues with delinquent accounts.
- Reconciling transactions with statements.
- Maintaining accurate financial records of all receivable transactions, verifications, etc.
Securing financial data via data backups and security monitoring.
Performing other duties as assigned.
To qualify you must have a High school diploma or Equivalent; 3 years plus of related experience in the A/R and A/P field; excellent written and verbal communication skills; excellent computer skills with strong knowledge of Excel and the ability to be proficient with financial software; Must have a strong foundation of mathematical skills; Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and organization. Must be able to research issues to find solutions independently. Knowledge of administrative and office procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, designing forms, and workplace terminology EOE
