New Hope-Solebury School District is seeking applicants for an Instructional Assistant to provide support for students at the High School.
Must have updated clearances.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) Skills Highly Preferred.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Responsibilities
Participate in daily and long-range planning and communication with the teachers.
Provide support to students instructionally in small groups or individually
Administer assessments when needed.
Supervision students as necessary.
Work with aides to supervise in lunch duty and bus duty as needed.
Maintain individual and collective record keeping and data collection as needed for students. Provide all necessary supports, adaptations, and modifications for students with disabilities as assigned such as but not limited to: toileting, assistance with student's menses care, personal grooming, daily self-help tasks, transfers to and from wheelchairs, support for participation in general and special education classrooms.
