Summary
JOB SUMMARY:
Provide direct oversight of Administrative Assistants for three Substance Abuse Outpatient Behavioral Health Programs (New Hope, ADAPT Cares, Next Passage) including Health Home administrative support team. The Office Manager supervises the daily operations of the administrative support team for opiate treatment programs. This position includes but is not limited to the direct supervision of the treatment center’s administrative support team performance in the following key area: operations, staffing, training, compliance, and customer service. These responsibilities include direct oversight of company policies and procedures, and adherence to state, federal and accrediting agency regulatory requirements. The Office Manager plays a crucial role in handling the day-to-day clinic operations.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3 years of hands-on administrative experience within the medical, human relations/customer relations field (5 years preferred).
- Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook a must and knowledge of operating standard office equipment.
- Good research skills and attention to detail.
- Requires general knowledge of network administration system to competently converse with IT staff in reference to problems and additions of computers.
- Experience with electronic medical record (EMR).
- Experience with electronic scheduling system.
- Ability to communicate effectively and a willingness to perform duties in a team work environment.
- Demonstrates ability to manage time efficiently and perform multiple tasks as required by the position in order for the Substance Abuse Programs to provide quality operations.
- Ability to model excellent customer service skills to patients and staff.
- Working knowledge of mental health and substance abuse problems would be helpful.
