EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

A minimum of 2 years office experience.

Experience organizing and managing large quantities of records and projects.

Proficiency with MS Office program and ability to create spreadsheets and databases with Excel.

Strong ability to take initiative.

Strong organizational skills and ability to self-direct.

Ability to meet deadlines.

Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Ability to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned.

Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and produce high quality and accurate work.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following:

  • Assist with the answering of phone lines professionally; evaluate caller needs/direct to appropriate administrative staff
  • Greet all guests professionally
  • Maintain confidentiality
  • Remain aware of company standards
  • Manage Director calendar and scheduling
  • Experience with project management
  • Monitor progress of projects according to working plans and schedules
  • Draft correspondence as needed
  • Order supplies and materials as needed
  • Manage accounts payable monthly
  • Communicate weekly with Director regarding contractor performance or concerns
  • Perform other duties as assigned

STANDARDS

In addition to the stated duties of this position, expects all employees to maintain a certain standard of responsibility and conduct during their work. These standards include but are not limited to the following:

  • Contributes to the well-being of clients by serving as a positive role model and demonstrating a professional and caring attitude and behavior towards co-workers, clients, and guests
  • Provides directions to clients and guests in a concise, informative manner, keeping a positive and courteous tone
  • Completes assigned tasks in an accurate and timely fashion
  • Participates effectively as a team member, coordinating efforts with other employees as appropriate
  • Maintains assigned schedule by allowing adequate time to arrive and assume responsibilities at designated time
  • Attends monthly mandatory staff meetings as well as all scheduled in-service and other required training
  • Adheres to attendance standards
  • Complies with appropriate dress standards
  • Submits timely written requests for leave, and reports needed for time off due to illness according to company standards
  • Works independently to complete required tasks with minimum supervision, as appropriate
  • Maintains the confidential nature of all client and company related activities

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 32 per week
