Crisis Clinician

JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title: ​Crisis Clinician – Crisis Receiving Center

Reports To: ​Crisis Receiving Center Program Manager & CEO

LICENSES:

Valid LMHP or LMHP-R registration with the Virginia Board of Counseling

EXPERIENCE:

A minimum of 3 years’ experience in the mental health field

Experience organizing and managing large quantities of files and records

Excellent leadership skills and strong ability to take initiative

Strong organizational skills and ability to self-direct

Ability to meet deadlines

Ability to maintain confidentiality

Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and produce high quality and accurate work

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following:

• The clinical review and management of crisis receiving center admissions
• Participation in the development, implementation and assessment of crisis receiving center clients
• Perform clinical needs assessments and develop person centered treatment and safety plans
• Care coordination and linkage with wraparound and step down services
• Ensure all policies and regulations are upheld and fulfilled as it pertains to client care
• Ensuring that clinical practice is in line with evidence based therapeutic models
• Remain aware of DMAS and Human Rights regulations and company standards
• Verify eligibility & screen referrals prior to assessment
• Cultivate company resource relationships with other for-profit and non-profit services that may provide wrap around or more comprehensive care for clients
• Communicate daily with crisis receiving center Program Manager regarding program intake schedule and program needs
• Communicate weekly with CEO regarding program performance and program needs or concerns
• Perform other duties as assigned

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $85,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

License/Certification:

• LMHP Certification from the Virginia Board of Counseling? (Required)

Work Location: In person

Salary : $85,000 - $90,000
