Our Assisted Living/Memory Care facility is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry professional to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our facility, ensuring a welcoming environment for our residents and guests. The ideal candidate will have experience in housekeeping and laundry services.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning of resident rooms, public areas, and laundry facilities to ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Resident Laundry - including washing, drying and folding.
- Utilize appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment for various surfaces and materials.
- Conduct floor care tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing to maintain the appearance of all flooring types.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Adhere to established cleaning protocols and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Experience
- Previous experience in housekeeping
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning practices and custodial duties is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions effectively.
- Excellent organizational skills with the capability to manage time efficiently.
