New Hope of Indiana is seeking a
Director of Fundraising and Marketing
to join our growing team. This is a full-time exempt position. Work schedule is general business hours; however, occasional flexibility is required to accommodate evening or weekend projects or events. This position reports to our Chief Executive Officer.
About the Job : Director of Fundraising and Marketing
You will be responsible for all organization fundraising and marketing activities. You will work collaboratively with all levels of leadership and program staff to continually develop and implement fundraising and marketing strategies and opportunities. You will also be responsible for leading the effort to develop key external alliances by cultivating individual, corporate and philanthropic support while also promoting New Hope’s mission and programs, raising the overall profile of the organization.

Leadership
Develop and execute annual fundraising strategy and marketing / external relations plan in conjunction with the annual budget and organization strategic planProvide supervision for the Development Manager and Communications and Engagement SpecialistUtilize ethical decision making when choosing among conflicting prioritiesAttend all leadership meetings as part of the executive teamAttend board meetings as neededProvide staff support to the Development, Marketing and Silver Cup Celebration board level committeesFundraising
Achieve annual fundraising goals through the identification, solicitation and retention of donors, grants and financial resourcesPrepare, write and submit grant applications to foundations and corporations. Work with finance team to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of awarded grantsDevelop and implement a donor recognition programMaintain accurate and up-to-date information in Network for Good databaseRegularly communicate with donors at all levels through a comprehensive stewardship planUnderstand and comply with appropriate and legal nonprofit fundraising techniquesMarketing
Regularly communicate with organization’s constituents about New Hope, keeping them apprised of key happenings and informationTell New Hope story with internal and external audiences through a variety of media sources including print, video, online and the New Hope websiteOversee development and distribution of Marketing and Communication collateralOversee the planning and execution of New Hope’s annual fundraising event – The Silver Cup CelebrationSkills we’re looking for from you :

What you bring to the table :
Director of Fundraising and Marketing
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or universityMust have eight (8) years previous experience working with nonprofit business development, grant writing, or fundraisingMust have experience in writing and reporting on complex grants and securing major gifts ($5,000 ) from individual donorsMust have five (5) years experience in a management roleMust possess a valid Indiana Operator’s License in accordance with New Hope of Indiana driving record guidelinesMust be proficient with Microsoft Suite including Excel and knowledge of Network for Good or equivalent databaseThe Benefits We are Proud to Offer : The New Hope Difference
