Position: Full Time, Monday – Friday, Regular Business Hours, HRY, on call
Place of Work: 2308 W. 3rd Spokane, WA 99201
Objective: Responsible for conducting counseling services at Isabella House Women and Children’s residential treatment facility. All SUD Professionals at New Horizon Care Centers in addition to their other responsibilities will demonstrated the highest ethical conduct in accordance with the D.O.H. and A.P.A. standards and will role model pro- social dress, conduct and language.
Qualifications/Skills: Substance Use Disorder Professional/Trainee, AA degree in Human Services required. Needs strong interpersonal communication, empathic, organizational and multitasking abilities. Must be detail oriented and maintain strict ethical and professional boundaries, willingness to work in a change based environment, use independent critical thinking and be self directed with little supervision needed.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain confidentiality per CFR part 2, HIPAA, ethical conduct and professional boundaries
- Maintain an understanding of Isabella House policies and procedures
- Maintain an understanding of and review bi yearly the administrative, clinical and employment policies of the Isabella House and Agency
- Present didactic groups as assigned, provide individual counseling and conduct treatment groups regularly per WAC.
- Attend all daily clinical staffing and treatment team meetings. Attend other required staff meetings/trainings as required.
- Attend all case management meetings as required
- Meet weekly with Clinical Supervisor for training, reviews, and other required documentation in addition to written quarterly review
- Maintain patient files per WAC and within the guidelines of the program; seek file approval from Clinical Supervisor weekly
- Coordinate ROI needs with Receptionist and maintain for patient file
- Develop a individual service plan to assist the patient in developing and maintain a drug and alcohol free lifestyle
- Review monthly progress reports with patient and send a copy to other agency professionals (i.e. correction officers, courts, attorneys, DCFS social workers) as applicable and with required specific written consent by patient
- Perform any duties assigned by the Clinical Supervisor/Isabella House Administrator for the benefit of the treatment program and its patients such as: assist in patient check in, perform random room inspections, teach didactic or recovery classes, supervise patient phone calls, advocate for patient during mandatory meetings, perform behavioral interventions, assist in all house UA’s and develop/coordinate patient referral needs
- Read staff log and document patient behavior issues in patient log daily
- Other duties as assigned by Isabella House Administrator
