New Horizons Healthcare is a not-for-profit community-based family health center, incorporated in 1999. This growing clinic includes pediatrics, family medicine, an on-site pharmacy with a medication assistance program, behavioral health services, dental care, and a sliding fee discount program for those who are eligible based on income and serves patients who are fully insured. New Horizons Healthcare currently has a full-time Certified Medical Assistant / Registered Medical Assistant / LPN position available.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Certified Medical Assistant, Registered Medical Assistant, or LPN with clinical experience in Family Practice including pediatrics. eCW, EMR system and other computer experience required, Spanish-speaking a plus. Candidate must be team-oriented, with excellent communication skills, and a strong orientation to customer service. Interact effectively with patients, staff, and community members from diverse backgrounds. Hours primarily: Monday through Friday- 8:00am to 5:00pm with hour lunch breaks.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate degree in Medical Assisting (preferred) or valid nursing license
- 1 years’ experience in medical assisting in a family practice (preferred)
- English, Spanish-extra compensation
- Valid Driver’s License
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
