Job Overview

Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Supervise children during activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and creativity.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, behavior, and any concerns.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom space that is conducive to learning.
- Provide care for children with special needs or disabilities, adapting activities as necessary.
- Conduct regular assessments of children's development and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive educational experience.
Requirements
- Previous experience in daycare, caregiving, or nannying is preferred.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices.
- Familiarity with first aid procedures and emergency response protocols.
- Experience working with children with disabilities is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with parents and staff.
- Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with young children.
- Certification in CPR/First Aid is highly desirable.
- A degree or coursework in early childhood education or related fields is preferred but not required.
