Responsibilities
- Operate washing machines and dryers efficiently to launder linens, towels, and garments.
- Sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry items according to established procedures.
- Inspect items for stains or damage before laundering and report any issues to management.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
- Adhere to safety protocols while handling chemicals and operating machinery.
- Assist with inventory management of laundry supplies and notify management when stock is low.
- Provide exceptional service by ensuring timely turnaround of laundry items for guests.
Experience
- Previous experience in a laundry environment is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with laundering techniques and equipment operation is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality work.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely completion of tasks.
