New Horizons is the largest mental health and addiction recovery provider on the Treasure Coast (and beyond), serving 15,000 children and adults annually through inpatient crisis services, 24-hour help line and mobile response team, and outpatient programs conveniently located across Indian River, Martin, Okeechobee and St. Lucie counties. As a Team Leader - Children's Community Action Team (Licensed) your responsibilities will include:
- Assists in the overall direction for the Children's Community Action Team.
- Assures the quality of services provided within the Recovery Continuum.
- Assures that all program staff are qualified to perform their assigned duties.
- Initiate and maintain relationships in coordination with other staff with law-enforcement and other human-services agencies, and with informal community resources.
- Provides Coordination, Assessment, and meets Productivity.
New Horizons will need you to have the following qualifications
- A Master's Degree in a Human Services field and a current Florida license in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling, or Psychology.
- Experience working with a severely and persistently mentally ill population and two (2) years or equivalent experience working with children and/or adults experiencing serious mental disturbances.
- Must have a valid Florida Driver's License with 6 points or less in the last 5 years.
