Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration.
- Support individuals in developing life skills and achieving personal goals through tailored care plans.
- Monitor and document vital signs and changes in client health status, reporting any concerns to appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients.
- Facilitate community engagement by accompanying clients to social activities, appointments, or outings.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients by following established health and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care for each individual.
Qualifications
- Experience in caregiving or direct support roles is preferred, particularly in senior care or working with individuals with disabilities.
- Knowledge of medication administration practices and ability to monitor vital signs is highly desirable.
