Direct Support Professional Volunteer
New Horizons is looking for a Direct Support Professional volunteer to assist adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to reach their individual goals. A Direct Support Professional will work with the individual(s) to develop skills, practice independence, and explore opportunities while providing support to the individual.
A successful Direct Support Professional volunteer will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster a positive relationship with the individual(s) they support. The Direct Support Professional will need to utilize problem solving, time management, and organizational skills while supporting the individual(s) they support.
Direct Support Professional volunteers make a positive difference in the life of the individual(s) they support.
