In this role, you will be responsible for providing hands-on instruction and support to individuals with developmental disabilities in various life skills areas.
Your Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized training programs based on each individual's goals and needs.
- Teach essential life skills such as personal hygiene, home maintenance, meal planning and preparation, money management, and community navigation.
- Assist individuals in developing social skills, communication skills, and problem-solving abilities.
- Provide support and encouragement to foster independence and self-confidence.
- Track progress and document outcomes for each individual.

- Flexible availability. 25 - 40 hours a week (may include weekends)
- Schedule 1: Monday- Friday 12:00AM-8:00AM Canoga Park
- Schedule 2: Saturday and Sunday 4:00PM-12:00AM Sherman Oaks
- Schedule 3: Monday, Thursday, Friday 7:30am-11:30am Reseda
- Schedule 4: Saturday 8:00am-12pm Reseda
- Schedule 5: Sunday 9:00am-2:00pm Reseda
- Schedule 6: Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday 7AM-9AM Encino
- Rate: $21.00-21.50
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience working with individuals with special needs or developmental disabilities preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create engaging and interactive lesson plans.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
- Ability to adapt and modify instruction to accommodate individual needs and abilities.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
