What are the responsibilities and job description for the Driver - Full Time position at New Horizons Village?
Born in 2019, Sunshine Wheels is a division of New Horizons, Inc. that provides accessible transportation to individuals with mobility issues. Originally part of the transportation division serving only New Horizons Village residents, Sunshine Wheels expanded to provide accessible transportation to individuals for the Hartford Area and beyond. Sunshine Wheels provides non-emergency medical transportation for individuals in our service area on Medicaid, transportation for contracted retirement facilities, recreation transportation for New Horizons Village residents, and other privately contracted rides with a focus on customer service and satisfaction.

Are you a responsible driver? We need you to safely transport adults with physical disabilities or elderly.
What will you drive? Vehicles include car or wheelchair accessible vans.
Do you have a clean driving record? It's required.
Do you have excellent customer service skills?
We would like you to hold a current CT Public Service License in good standing with endorsement F, S, V or A. We will help you get one if you don't and are willing to get one!
Knowledge of ADA & Safe Driving training a plus.

Salary : $19 - $20
