The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the HR department, ensuring that all personnel actions and documentation comply with agency policies and employment laws. This role is primarily accountable for maintaining accurate, complete, and up-to-date personnel files and records. Serving as a primary point of contact for employees, the HR Generalist delivers a high level of customer service and collaborates with colleagues to resolve various issues. This position involves interaction and coordination of HR functions with staff, supervisors, management, Professional Employer Organizations (PEOs), and external vendors. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to, payroll administration, benefits management, HR information systems (HRIS) oversight, staff training, leave of absence management, employee evaluations, report tracking, and issue resolution as necessary.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: The Human Resources Coordinator must possess an associate's degree. A bachelor’s degree is preferred. In addition, a minimum of one to two years of progressive experience in the human resources field.
