Job Description: Vehicle Paint Correction Specialist
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Vehicle Paint Correction Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for restoring and enhancing vehicle paintwork to a flawless finish. This includes correcting imperfections such as scratches, swirl marks, oxidation, and other surface defects. The Paint Correction Specialist will work closely with customers and team members to deliver exceptional results and ensure satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform multi-stage paint correction using specialized tools, compounds, and techniques to eliminate surface imperfections.
- Evaluate vehicle surfaces to identify damage, defects, and areas requiring correction.
- Utilize a variety of equipment, including dual-action polishers, rotary buffers, and sanding tools.
- Apply protective coatings, waxes, or sealants to maintain and preserve corrected paint finishes.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality standards and timely project completion.
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded.
- Maintain and care for tools, equipment, and supplies necessary for paint correction services.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in paint correction, auto detailing, or related fields.
- In-depth knowledge of automotive paint systems, defects, and correction techniques.
- Proficiency with tools and products used in paint correction (e.g., polishes, compounds, microfiber pads).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Physical stamina and ability to work in various conditions (e.g., standing, bending, or lifting for extended periods).
