SUMMARY: Responsible for the proper disposal of all waste materials and recyclable paper products throughout the printing facility, for all activities associated with safely running the baler including operation, cleanup, and recommending improvements to operations.

Skills And Qualifications
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Operate the baler in an efficient manner following all safety protocols.
- Safely operate standard warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Operate hogger and hog up all unusable paper and corrugated scrap.
- Turn in maintenance work orders to supervision for needed repairs. Be proactive in the maintenance of equipment.
- Weigh and record bales of product and keep accurate records of what is recycled.
- Maintain inventories of bailing wire, wax, and no wax tags, and scrap bales.
- Hand tied wax bales wires.
- Assist in two man feeds as necessary.
- Duties may be expanded upon and additional duties may be assigned.

Skills And Qualifications
- Manufacturing experience in the corrugated industry preferred.
- Prior work experience as a forklift operator preferred.
- Able to read a tape measure with speed and accuracy.
- Knowledge equipment design and capabilities that can be translated into efficient operation.
- Read and interpret product layout and production specifications.
