Job Description:
As a Regulatory Affairs Manager, you will be responsible for leading the implementation and management of all aspects of environmental compliance for our site. This includes ensuring safe and efficient operation of the environmental department, direct reports, and communicating effectively with regulatory officials. You will also be responsible for interpreting and applying state and federal regulations, confirming required testing, updating SOPs, reviewing and analyzing data, making changes to the wastewater treatment plant, filing environmental reports, and liaising with consultants and contractors.
Skills and Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in environmental management, chemistry, or a science-related field from an accredited institution is required. Minimum 5 years of environmental compliance experience, demonstrated knowledge of federal, state, and local health and environmental regulations, working knowledge of wastewater treatment chemistry, and a Wastewater Class C Operator license are necessary. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational and analytical skills, and ability to develop and present materials are also required.
