Job Description:
\New-Indy Containerboard is seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for optimizing manufacturing processes and systems.

- Orientate yourself with existing production lines and identify areas for improvement \
- Collaborate with the operations team to implement process changes that enhance efficiency and productivity \
- Develop and implement new projects that align with company objectives \
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of short-term improvement efforts \
- Monitor and report on daily operating and quality parameters \
- Lead and coordinate plant process trials involving new procedures, equipment, specifications, and/or chemicals \
- Support the development and implementation of area IT-based systems \\
- Promote problem-solving and project management skills among team members \\
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the organization \\
- Travel to various US locations as required \\
- Bachelor's degree in Paper Science Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline combined with relevant work experience in a process industry \\
- Proficient use of standard engineering software and analysis tools (e.g., MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint) \\
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills \\
- Able to think critically and creatively \\
- Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts \\
- Ability to travel as required \\
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills \\
- Results-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality results \\
- Maintain accurate records and reports \\
- Provide input to improve process and product quality \\
