What you’ll do:
You will be a critical part of our Finance team as the Billing and Data Associate. The Billing and Data Associate is a key member of the Finance team, responsible for ensuring that all financial and billing transactions are completed in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring compliance, data quality while maintaining proper internal procedures.
Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will be an organized, detail-oriented, and proactive accounting professional to provide comprehensive support to the accounting department. They will perform daily operational tasks pertaining to billing and collection of customer membership renewals and other subscription-based products via various online software platforms and oversee the billing cycle for various revenue streams including partnerships, products and other miscellaneous billing as required. To ensure the integrity of our member data for financial purposes, this position will be maintaining and updating membership data on multiple platforms across the organization.
To be successful in this position, excellent communication and customer service skills are required to support member clients for all related inquiries including data changes, billing inquiries, and providing information about participation in the various benefits we offer.
Requirements:
At least 5 years related bookkeeping and general accounting experience
GAAP and GL experience
Associates degree preferred
Strong technical acumen
Experience with Woo Commerce or similar E-Commerce products strongly preferred
Strong proficiency with Microsoft products such as Outlook and Teams Intermediate to advanced Excel
A background check is required for this position.
This position is based in downtown Trenton and is primarily on site with some flexible work arrangements.
Ability to excel in a team-based fast paced environment and be flexible with changing work priorities.
Must have a high level of interpersonal skills to work with individuals both within and outside of the organization at all levels who are in a hybrid/remote working environment.
Ability to work independently with excellent time management and problem resolution skills.
Proactive approach to workflow is required.
Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs for accounting file maintenance as needed.
