Cannabis Testing Laboratory Technician
New Jersey Cannalytics LLC is seeking a skilled Laboratory Technician to join our team in a fast-paced cannabis testing laboratory. As a Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for performing daily sample extractions, data analysis, and quality control procedures to ensure accurate and compliant testing results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily sample extractions and data analysis using HPLC and other laboratory equipment
- Conduct quality control procedures to ensure accurate and compliant testing results
- Document sample weights and relevant data with attention to detail
- Utilize Microsoft Excel and laboratory information management systems to track and analyze data
- Participate in training and competency programs to maintain expertise in laboratory procedures
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; AS or greater preferred
- 2 years of analytical chemistry experience in a high-volume laboratory setting preferred
- Laboratory sample extractions experience required
- Agilent HPLC experience preferred
- Cannabis experience preferred but not required
Work Environment:
The work environment is fast-paced and requires frequent pivoting and multitasking. The laboratory is secured by user-specific access and is surveilled by cameras. The noise level in the work environment may be loud.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to concentrate and consistently produce accurate work
- Frequent standing, walking, sitting, and use of hands
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
- Visual requirements to include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus

Schedule:
- Tuesday-Saturday, training and competency determined on a Monday-Friday schedule
- 8-9 hour shifts
- Overtime available
