What are the responsibilities and job description for the Environmental Planner / Project Manager (Hoboken) position at New Jersey Chapter of the American Planning Association?
The City of Hoboken is seeking a qualified planner and project manager to serve in the Department of Climate Action Innovation, focusing on environmental sustainability projects.
The City of Hoboken is a one square-mile city of 53,000 residents along the Hudson River. To mitigate climate change, the City is implementing a Climate Action Plan that seeks to achieve net zero energy by 2030 as well as carbon neutrality by 2050. To adapt to climate change, the City is implementing a Zero Waste Plan, Green Building & Environmental Sustainability Element of the Hoboken Master Plan, a Green Infrastructure Strategic Plan, and the Hudson River Rebuild by Design Project.
