New Jersey Community Development Corporation (NJCDC) is a multi-faceted community development and social service agency providing housing and social services to 4,000 children and families daily in the city of Paterson. We are searching for a Program Director to lead a neighborhood-based initiative to remove lead paint from 100 homes. The position requires the ability to recruit, qualify, and direct contractors to undertake lead remediation efforts; coordinate a campaign to inform local residents about the program; arrange for inspections; maintain program records; etc.
The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in overseeing a program that involves coordinating services and interacting with a variety of parties. The ability to “own” the program, attend to all program details, and ensure its success from start to finish is vital.
