What are the responsibilities and job description for the Storekeeper 2 position at New Jersey Department of Health?
This position aids in receiving, storing and delivering supplies. It is also our mail courier. They are responsible for collecting mail from our PO Box daily and sorting it for the facility. It will also be the State vehicle coordinator for the facility. Candidates should have knowledge of large-scale storage procedures, transportation, shipping and packing methods. The role demands strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
REQUIREMENTS:
EXPERIENCE: Three (3) years of experience in work involving receiving, storing, safeguarding, and recording parts, materials, equipment, and supplies of varied types in an organized storeroom.
LICENSE: Appointees will be required to possess a driver's license valid in New Jersey only if the operation of a vehicle, rather than employee mobility, is necessary to perform the essential duties of the position.
