What are the responsibilities and job description for the Supervising Medical Security Officer position at New Jersey Department of Health?
DEFINITION: Under the supervision of the Director of Medical Security, supervises the work of the Medical Security Officers, and Medical Security Officer Recruits on an assigned shift, in the treatment, care and custody of patients or residents in medical security areas.
REQUIREMENTS:
EXPERIENCE: Three (3) years of experience in work involving the treatment, care and custody of patients or residents requiring medical security, one (1) year of which shall have been in a supervisory capacity.
LICENSE: Appointees will be required to possess a driver's license valid in New Jersey only if the operation of a vehicle, rather than employee mobility, is necessary to perform essential duties of the position.
