DESCRIPTION: Under the direction of a supervisory officer at Trenton Psychiatric Hospital, assists in the design, supervision, and implementation of a program of art therapy; does related work as required.
REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION: Graduation from an accredited college with a Bachelor's degree, with a major course of study in art, art therapy, or art education.
EXPERIENCE: One (1) year of professional experience in an art therapy program.
NOTE: A Master's degree in art therapy or creative arts therapy with a specialization in art therapy may be substituted for the one (1) year of experience
LICENSE: Appointees will be required to possess a driver's license valid in New Jersey only if the operation of a vehicle, rather than employee mobility, is necessary to perform the essential duties of the position.
