Currently announcing a vacancy for an associate director for video production.
Job Summary
Directly responsible to the Director of the Communications Division for all aspects of the development, production, editing and distribution of audiovisual projects, including videos, slideshows, animation, and other audiovisual content, as may be required by the Association.
Essential Functions
Qualifications
A candidate will have extensive experience in all aspects of the production of video and other audiovisual materials. A candidate will possess a high degree of intelligence and imagination; will be a good writer and speaker able to transfer complex ideas into simple, direct prose and visuals; will have training and experience in video production; will have demonstrated ability for scripting, editing, directing, and producing video and other audiovisual programming; will be familiar with the organization and operation of public schools as well as with the attitudes of school staffs and the activities of their representative organizations.
Training and Experience
Professional training and experience in all aspects of video production is necessary. Specific experience in producing, directing, and editing video productions is desirable. Interpersonal skills and the ability to work cooperatively with a wide range of individuals are important.
