About the Position
In this critical role, you'll be responsible for interacting with patients, handling registration, insurance verification, and other administrative tasks. Your duties will include greeting patients, registering them, and obtaining or verifying their insurance information. You'll also collect co-pays and fees, schedule appointments, answer phone calls, and provide patients with clear instructions and directions.
To be successful in this role, you must possess excellent customer service skills, be able to multitask effectively, and demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with intermediate to advanced computer skills. Previous experience in a medical setting is preferred but not necessary.
